This is a full-time, in-office position offering flexibility to work-from-home when needed, convenient parking and a laid-back and easy-going environment, within a busy professional office.
We are looking for an Insurance Advisor who wants to build a meaningful long-term career, develop strong client relationships, and grow with the business over time.

Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of financial advisory experience, ideally including life insurance and segregated funds
- LLQP licence preferred, or willingness to obtain within approximately two months
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
- Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple client relationships and priorities independently
- Coachable, professional, ethical, client-focused, and committed to following through
- Comfortable with technology, including CRM, financial planning, Microsoft Office, and insurance/investment platforms
- Willing to participate in networking and business development as the role evolves
What you’ll be doing
Client Relationship and Advice
- Build trusted relationships and proactively manage client meetings, reviews, and follow-up
- Understand clients’ goals and changing circumstances, identifying planning, insurance, and investment opportunities
- Present clear, appropriate recommendations and help clients make informed financial decisions
- Deliver consistently exceptional client service
Financial Planning
- Gather and analyze client information and build comprehensive financial plans using Conquest
- Assess clients’ financial situations and identify planning gaps, risks, and opportunities
- Review existing insurance and investment arrangements and recommend appropriate life insurance and segregated fund solutions
- Prepare and present personalized recommendations
- Conduct ongoing reviews and update plans as clients’ circumstances change
- Stay current on relevant products, market developments, and compliance requirements
Meeting Preparation and Follow-Through
- Thoroughly prepare for client meetings by reviewing files, identifying opportunities, and ensuring required information and documentation are ready
- Document meeting outcomes and agreed-upon actions
- Complete or coordinate follow-up promptly and take ownership through to completion
Business Development
- Build relationships with new prospects and referral sources
- Participate in networking, community, marketing, and business development activities
- Identify appropriate opportunities to grow the practice
- Contribute ideas that improve the client experience and overall business

What Success Looks Like Within the First Year:
- Clients are comfortable working directly with you, and you’re increasingly managing relationships independently
- Client reviews, financial planning, meeting preparation, and follow-up are handled proactively and consistently
- Planning and service opportunities within the existing client base are identified and acted upon
- You have developed a strong understanding of the practice, products, processes, and client service standards
Compensation
- Base salary: $75,000 to $95,000, depending on licensing, experience and qualifications
- Bonus: Additional performance-based compensation
