La Mano is hiring a full-time Line Cook at competitive rates! We are looking for passionate people with experience in Line Cooking who love fresh pasta. Full-time evening hours are available, kitchen last call is 9pm every night. You will be cooking and serving customers directly at our counter-service restaurant stall at Lonsdale Quay Market.
Necessary skills:
- A strong understanding of ingredients and cooking
- Professional communication skills with staff and guests
- An understanding of using recipes for frequently changing feature items
Preferred skills:
- Fresh pasta making
- Large scale production
Experience:
- 4+ years experience in the restaurant industry
- 1-2 years experience with Italian food (recommended)
Compensation:
- Starting wage at $21/hr + Tips
