Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Worker to join our team. This role involves various tasks, casting concrete blocks, assuring quality control and inventory monitoring, shop help, driver operator assisting, and maintaining an organized yard environment. Heavy equipment experience may be considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Casting concrete retaining blocks, maintaining stock and quality control
- Help shop staff with mechanical repairs
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring proper documentation and inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and warehouse areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for various tasks within the yard.
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
