Electrician – Residential HVAC
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Klova energy, supporting residential HVAC installations and upgrades. This role will primarily involve electrical work related to heat pump systems, including disconnects, pony panels, service upgrades, and other residential electrical requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong residential experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical disconnects for heat pump and HVAC systems
- Complete pony panel installations and service upgrades as required
- Perform residential wiring and electrical modifications to support HVAC installations
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to heating and cooling systems
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and efficiently
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians and installers to complete jobs efficiently
- Perform site assessments to determine electrical requirements for installations
- Maintain clean and organized work areas at residential job sites
- Document work completed and report any issues or additional requirements
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential settings
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and code requirements
- Experience with service upgrades, panel work, and HVAC-related electrical installs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working alongside HVAC crews is an asset
- Valid electrical certification/license
Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
