We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
- Engage in active selling and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Handle cashiering duties including processing payments via cash, credit, or debit cards
- Utilize strong communication skills to inform customers about promotions and new products
- Demonstrate effective time management by efficiently assisting multiple customers during shifts
- Uphold phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or providing support remotely if required
- Support store organization through maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the sales area
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers effectively
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader customer base
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
- Knowledge of basic math for transaction accuracy and inventory management
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers on technical features if applicable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining store standards
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers remotely or over the phone
