Duties
- Install, configure, and test automatic gate opener systems, including sensors, motors, and control panels
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to ensure precise system setup
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on gate openers, sensors, CCTV cameras, and related hardware
- Conduct electrical wiring and low voltage connections following safety protocols and technical specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently
- Integrate computer hardware with gate control systems for seamless operation and remote access capabilities
- Diagnose issues related to mechanical parts, sensors, telecommunication links, or computer networking to restore optimal system performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience with construction or installation of security or access control systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience in low voltage wiring and circuitry
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals with confidence
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and telecommunication infrastructure
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, drills, power tools, and power saws
- Knowledge of computer hardware setup and basic networking principles for integrated security solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting complex systems
