We are seeking a hard working and reliable Construction Foreman to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capable of conducting heavy physical lifting, frequent prolonged standing/walking, pushing/pulling, or moving/lifting heavy equipment/supplies
- Assist in steel stud framing, wood framing, drywall, insulation, tape and mud, and painting.
- Demolition, cement finishing, concrete restoration, and stripping forms.
- Knowledge of practices, methods, equipment, material, and tools used on a construction site.
- Operate Heavy Equipment
- Participate in site inspections and actively participate in the cultivation of onsite health and safety culture, leading by example
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored correctly
- Follow instructions and work independently, as well as with a team
- Supervise 5-10 people
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
- Application for Construction Foreman (Min 5 years of experience- REQUIRED)
- The candidate must have their own car.
- Experience in concrete forming, pouring, and finishing
- Must have knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Confidence to practice safe work procedures and comfortable working at heights
- Other valid health and safety certification will be an asset
- Valid WHMIS Training (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
