We are hiring 2 more Landscape Maintenance Apprentices for the 2026 season.
Who This Role Is For
You’ll likely be a strong fit if you:
- Have real experience working outdoors (landscaping, tree planting, construction, farming, trail work, outdoor recreation, etc.)
- Take pride in physical work and can handle long, demanding days
- Show up on time, ready to work, without being pushed
- Want to build a long-term career in landscaping or the trades
- Are coachable, humble, and willing to learn
- Care about doing quality work — even when no one is watching
- Work well on a team and contribute to a positive crew environment
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Positive attitude, coachability, and team-first mindset
Who This Is NOT For

- Are looking for a temporary or “in-between” job
- Prefer indoor, low-effort, or casual work
- Struggle with reliability or punctuality
- Don’t enjoy physical labour or working in all weather
- Have a pattern of job-hopping without commitment
- Resist feedback or prefer to “do things your own way”
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of a maintenance crew responsible for high-end residential properties. Your work will include:
- Lawn care: mowing, trimming, edging
- Garden bed care: pruning, weeding, mulching
- Seasonal cleanups
- Learning irrigation basics
- Safe operation of tools and equipment
- Maintaining clean, organized job sites
This is hands-on, outdoor work. It is physically demanding and detail-oriented.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
- You are reliable and trusted by your crew
- You consistently produce clean, high-quality work
- You take feedback well and improve quickly
- After your first season, your foreman trusts you to complete work properly without constant supervision.
- You are progressing toward Apprentice → Foreman growth

Compensation & Benefits
- $22–$26/hr (with relevant outdoor experience)
- Paid overtime (8 hrs/day or 40 hrs/week)
