Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the kitchen supervisor or chef.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of food.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and rotating stock as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
