Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Role Objectives:
To ensures that any necessary materials can be moved and/or delivered safely and efficiently. Your duties include loading and unloading inventory, managing and cataloguing inventory, and operating different types of machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse activities including but not limited to storing, picking/feeding material for production, inventory location moves, and cycle count process.
- Ensure that inventory material is stored and handled in a safe manner.
- Maintain the warehouse and storage yard in a clean and organized fashion.
- Sort, count, identify, verify, and track materials to maintain accurate warehouse inventory records.
- Report low stock levels to purchasing department or immediate supervisor.
- Tracking material fall down.
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Follow all health and safety measures are followed.
- Aid co-worker with daily tasks
Qualification:
- Valid forklift operation certificate and 3 years experience operating a forklift.
- Ability to regularly lift heavy objects
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
