Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Servers in both full-time and part-time positions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food service operations. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success. The position involves providing attentive service, managing guest orders efficiently, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not mandatory; training provided for new entrants
- Strong knowledge of POS systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with effective time management skills
- Basic math skills for billing and cash handling purposes
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with food industry standards and hospitality practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
