Envirogreen Technologies Ltd. (ETL) is an established waste management company, leading the way in the treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Our permitted hazardous waste treatment facility located outside of Princeton, BC, utilizes thermal desorption technology to treat a wide range of industrial waste and contaminated soil.
The Opportunity
ETL is looking for a motivated Site Services Labour/Water Truck Operator with proven experience to join our team.
The rotation: 4 days a week (10/12 hours a day)
The Site Services Labour/Water Truck Operator works under the direction of the designated Supervisor and any assigned Foremen/Supervisors/Managers and works with other employees within the company to ensure safe work practices and policies, compliances and regulations are adhered.
The Site Services Labour/Water Truck Operator will work closely with facility staff to create a positive and safe working environment, be a resource to management and facility staff for health and safety information and promote health and safety programs in the workplace.
· Minimum Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred
· License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license with air endorsement and access to reliable transportation
· 1-2 years’ experience as a labour
· Has air brakes or willing to obtain
· Ability to promote and enforce company’s PPE and site indoctrination requirements
Core Job Duties
· Operate small equipment (skid steer/forklift/mini hoe)
· Complete daily task specific safety paperwork
· Pressure washing equipment
· Cleaning equipment cabs
· Supervised mechanical assistance as required
· Has experience driving a pick up truck and trailer for large item pick ups
· Operate water truck for site dust suppression
· Assist Fuel & Lube Technician
· Keep shop and service bay clean.
· General labour duties as required
· All other duties as requested by supervisor or manager
