Auto Body Prepper
Pet Auto Body has been a trusted leader in Heavy Truck / Big Rig Collision Repair in Calgary and surrounding areas since 1992. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Auto Body Prepper to join our team at our busy heavy truck collision repair facility. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay and benefits. You will be working in a professional, well-equipped heavy truck repair facility with a strong team environment and consistent year-round work.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting through sanding, grinding, and surface preparation
- Apply masking tape and protective materials to areas that will not be painted
- Remove dirt, debris, and imperfections to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Assist technicians and painters with preparation tasks as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Follow work orders and ensure work meets quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working on commercial units or in an auto body shop
- Must have your own basic prep tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting up to 100 lbs
- Valid driver’s license
Schedule
- Full-time, permanent
- Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
