The Project Technical Lead is an efficient leader who understands the overall Ariel EAS solution and enterprise architecture. He manages the technical project deliverables related to the solution architecture and infrastructure and is responsible for ensuring the alignment between implementation technical needs and enterprise IT strategies and technologies. He has the overall accountability to deliver something to the client that meets quality expectations and within the planned deadline.
Leads technical workshops with the clients in order to present the Ariel EAS solution architecture and understand their technical requirements
Acts as a main point of contact for the client with regards to the solution’s technical architecture, technical questions, and technical deliverables
Collaborates closely with the Project Manager to define and track technical activities
Influences clients to adapt our COTS solution
Works with the Enterprise Technical Architects to ensure the project solution architecture follows enterprise architecture standard and industry best standards
Responsible to align project technical needs with enterprise IT strategies and technologies
Develops detailed documentation to support technical requirements
Works with clients to identify third party vendor requirements based on scope discussed in the RFP
Works with any service provider to ensure architectural standards for security, applications and data are understood and documented.
Confirms technology stack requirements and estimates software / hardware costs in conjunction with Infrastructure and business teams for solution implementation.
Coordinates the interactions between the different stakeholders (client and internal teams) with regards to the project’s technical needs
Represents our clients in front of our Product Development and Enterprise teams
Controls the project’s technical scope based on the contract
Identifies any risks/issues proactively
Finds solutions to when problems arise; determines best course of action for the project success using strong business acumen (i.e. Good at gauging best options to develop or buy solutions in our environment)
Ensures the delivery will meet client expectations
Owns the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) for all technical requirements
Identifies implementation risks; analyzes potential impact on the solution and scheduled objectives; works with Product Development team to develop, submit and maintain critical path schedules; and initiates action to correct any deviations from this schedule.
Contributes to RFPs to ensure the continuity between Sales process and Implementation
Promotes and demonstrates performance measurement and skill development of Talent proactively
Provides input to staffing plans at the project level to identify key / required skills
Demonstrates the ability to drive toward the strategic technology outcomes
Demonstrates and possesses a strong technical and design acumen
Possesses knowledge to how product components work and interact with one another
Is able to understand who the audience is and adapt accordingly
Acts as a change agent
