Arctic Electrical Ltd. is looking for a tech-savvy, experienced security installer to assist us with the following installation, service, and maintenance tasks:
- security camera systems;
- access control systems;
- traditional intrusion / alarm systems;
- intercom systems
We are an Electrical Company based out of Iqaluit, Nu that pride ourselves in providing the highest quality expertise and service to our customers.
We service locations with a variety of security products and solutions, with a primary focus on live video monitoring solutions for construction and commercial sites. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
Preferred Experience and Education
- Must have knowledge and experience with structured cabling (Cat6, fiber optic, etc.), installation, maintenance, testing, and repairing.
- Must have knowledge and experience with card access systems (Keyscan, Kantech, etc.) installation, maintenance, testing and repairing.
- Must have knowledge and experience with intrusion/security systems (DSC, Honeywell, etc.) installation, maintenance, testing and repairing.
- Must have knowledge and experience with CCTV systems (Hikvision, Panasonic, etc.) installation, maintenance, testing and repairing.
- Must have valid drivers license and be able to pass a security check for working in schools.
Must be willing to do rotational work, flights, accommodations and meals included. 5 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
Can be a fast-paced work environment and the tasks vary day to day. Any courses in electrical, construction, or low voltage wiring is an asset.
You're a trust-worthy, self-starter who can work independently, with excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
Must have flexibility to work up to full-time hours and provide backup to other team members.
