Summary of Duties:
CLI College is seeking a Dental Office Administration (DOA) Program Instructor to join our academic team. Please note that this is a weekday evening class, Monday to Thursday (5:00 PM – 10:00 PM). This is a hybrid position, and occasional visits to campus may be required for faculty meetings and other College activities.
Preference will be given to candidates within the Eastern Time Zone (EST).
The Dental Office Administration Instructor will play a key role in supporting student success while contributing to the College's mission of providing high-quality, career-focused education. Under general direction, the instructor is responsible for delivering engaging instruction, facilitating student learning, and ensuring students develop the practical knowledge and skills required for employment in a dental office environment.
The Instructor will be responsible for:
- Delivering instruction that meets course and program learning outcomes as outlined in the approved curriculum.
- Preparing and delivering engaging lectures, demonstrations, and classroom activities.
- Evaluating student performance fairly, consistently, and in accordance with College policies.
- Providing timely feedback and academic support to students.
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of curriculum and instructional materials.
- Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the overall student experience.
- Maintaining accurate student attendance, grades, and academic records.
- Acting in a manner that reflects and upholds the standards and values of CLI College.
- Participating in faculty meetings, program reviews, and College activities.
- Monitoring and supporting students during practicum placements, where applicable.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Dental Office Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of recent practical experience working in a dental office, preferably in a dental administrative or front desk role.
- Previous teaching or training experience is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g. ABELDent, or similar) is preferred.
- Current knowledge of dental office procedures, scheduling, patient communication, insurance claims, treatment planning, billing, and privacy legislation.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of dental office operations and current industry best practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
