Job Summary
Pink Fun Rentals is an expanding amusement ride and event company with operations across Manitoba, Ontario, and British Columbia. We create unforgettable experiences through our large-scale amusement rides, inflatables, and mobile attractions. We are looking for an experienced professional painter to join our team full-time. While painting will be your primary role, you will also support with ride setup, teardown, and light mechanical work.
Position Details
- Job Title: Experienced Painter Drum
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Wage: $18 per hour
- Hours: Full-time schedule with seasonal overtime as required
- Travel: Willingness to travel long distances across Manitoba, Ontario, and BC
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead all professional painting, refinishing, and restoration of amusement rides and related equipment.
- Prepare and treat surfaces, mix and apply coatings, and ensure top-quality finishes that meet durability and appearance standards.
- Maintain the long-term protection of steel, fiberglass, and mechanical structures against weather and heavy use.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, operation, and teardown of rides at events.
- Support with general mechanical and electrical troubleshooting when required.
- Safely drive pickup trucks with trailers (training toward Class 1 license may be offered).
- Ensure all equipment is always presented to the highest professional standard.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience (industrial, equipment, or automotive preferred).
- Experience with spray guns, industrial coatings, and surface preparation.
- Mechanical aptitude and handyman skills considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license; trailer-hauling experience preferred.
