Responsibilities
- Provide professional haircuts, trims, shaves, and grooming services tailored to each client's preferences
- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with clients in a friendly, approachable manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized styling advice
- Keep workstations organized and ensure all tools are properly sanitized after each use
Experience
- Proven experience as a barber or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of hair styling work
- Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their grooming preferences
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products and additional services confidently
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Previous experience managing front desk responsibilities or retail sales is a plus
