We are currently seeking a motivated, customer-focused IT Support Intern to join our team for a 3-month on-site paid internship. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience supporting end users, technology operations and events in a dynamic environment.

Employment Type: Seasonal/Contract, 3 months in duration, with an immediate start in June 2026
Hours of Work: Up to 35 hours per week, varying based on need. Work hours are anticipated to take place primarily during the day, however based on need may include evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
Rate Of Pay: Compensation: $22 - $25 per hour
Location: On-site at our lakeside campus located in downtown Toronto at 235 Queens Quay W.
Duties
- Provide on-site technical support to Harbourfront Centre employees, seasonal staff, vendors, and external visitors as required.
- Assist users with Windows and macOS computers, Microsoft 365 applications, and general technology issues.
- Support Wi-Fi connectivity, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Set up and deploy laptops, workstations, and user equipment.
- Track and follow up on support requests through the IT ticketing system.
- Provide hands-on floor support and assist users with day-to-day technology needs.
- Support event technology, ticket scanners, and operational activities during events.
- Assist with user account administration, hardware inventory, and asset management.
- Create and maintain basic IT documentation and user guides.
- Support the IT team with operational tasks and special projects as required.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or University program in Information Technology, Networking, Business Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Interest in technology and problem-solving.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous hands-on IT support experience and/or hands-on network support experience is desirable and considered an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the contract.
- This role is site based, as such must be able to work at our lakeside campus in downtown Toronto.
