We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Goldsmith. This role involves working in a professional jewellery store or workshop environment, performing repairs, polishing, resizing, and restoration of fine jewellery and watches. The ideal candidate will have strong craftsmanship skills, experience handling precious metals and luxury jewellery, and the ability to deliver high-quality work with precision. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to maintaining and restoring valuable jewellery pieces while supporting daily operations in a fast-paced retail and workshop setting.
Repair and restore fine jewellery including rings, bracelets, necklaces, and other pieces.
Resize rings and perform general jewellery repairs while maintaining structural integrity and finish quality.
Polish and refinish jewellery to restore showroom-quality appearance.
Polish and refinish luxury watches, bracelets, and watch components.
Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on jewellery pieces.
Use professional goldsmith tools and equipment to complete repairs and refinishing work.
Inspect jewellery and watch pieces for damage, wear, or structural issues before and after repairs.
Assist with minor stone tightening and adjustments when necessary.
Maintain an organized and clean workspace while properly handling valuable materials and client pieces.
Collaborate with team members to ensure repair work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards.
Prior professional experience working as a goldsmith in a jewellery store, repair shop, or workshop environment.
Strong experience with jewellery polishing, refinishing, resizing, and general repair work.
Experience polishing and refinishing watches and watch bracelets is highly desirable.
Familiarity with goldsmith tools and jewellery repair equipment.
Ability to work with precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong craftsmanship and a high standard for finishing quality.
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to fine detail.
Commitment to safety standards and willingness to follow company policies on equipment operation and workplace conduct.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to manage multiple repair tasks efficiently.
Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour
