The intent of this process is to establish a pool of qualified candidates for future vacancies in Gatineau and Montreal with various tenures within the Public Service Commission. This pool may also be used to staff similar positions within other federal departments in the National Capital Region and Montreal, subject to prior approval of the PSC.

Testing will only be administered in a regional office of the PSC in one of the following locations: Halifax (NS), Montreal (QC), Gatineau (QC), Toronto (ON), Vancouver (BC).

High school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience (two years of secondary school with one year experience in an office or client services environment).

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
Experience providing administrative or clerical support services

Experience using spreadsheet, word processing and email software

Applicants must complete the Unsupervised Internet Test of Cognitive Ability - Level 1 as part of the screening for this selection process. This test assesses general problem solving and reasoning ability. You will have 60 minutes to complete the test. You must complete the test before you submit your application for this position.
