Responsibilities
The Cashier is primarily responsible for being the first greeting as customers enter the store the their farewell as they leave.
At Woodland Home Hardware we pride ourselves on giving the best customer service, so we are looking for superstar customer service oriented staff.
You would work the cash register, answer phone calls and direct them to where they need to go, ensure no stock leaves the store without being checked off first, along with helping with stock, general housekeeping and other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
· Ability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.
· Friendly and helpful attitude toward customers.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Willingness to learn.
· Good mathematical skills.
· Prior retail experience beneficial.
· Creative abilities for making attractive in-store displays.
· Willingness to continually develop professional skills and knowledge base.
· Ability to work co-operatively in a team atmosphere.
· Must move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds from receiving area to warehouse and place it on shelves.
