Case Manager 2

As Case Manager 2, you are responsible for managing low to moderately complex injury claims. You will advise and assist claimants to support their recovery, monitor rehabilitation and return-to-work progress and manage claim finances. You will also contribute to a collaborative team environment, providing input and sharing expertise with others.

Promote quality and cost effective interventions and outcomes while managing claimants’ rehabilitation, Income Replacement Indemnity and return-to-work.
Work collaboratively with other departments, service providers and customers to ensure that the claim goals are well established and managed in an effective and timely manner.
Effectively investigate, assess, set rehabilitation goals and proactively manage injury claims of a moderate to high complexity/severity.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or medical rehabilitation (athletic, occupational or physical therapy, or kinesiology).

A general degree.

An applicable case management certificate, such as:
Rehabilitation Case Management certificate
Rehabilitation Benefits Administration certificate
Disability Management Practitioner certificate

The National Institute of Disability Management and Research (NIDMAR) designation is considered an asset.
Three years of case management experience.
Must be willing and able to travel.
Must have access to a personal vehicle.
Must have a valid Driver’s Licence.
