Job description includes but not limited to;
-Prepare snacks and meals taking food allergies/intolerances into consideration
- Prepare snack and meal substitutions for children with allergies/intolerances and restrictions when necessary
- Determine size of food portions and ensure to follow the food guide
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen/workspace
- Deliver snacks and meals to designated classrooms in a timely fashion
- Ensure that foods are dated and labeled for storage and serving as required
- Wash dishes using dishwasher and/or 3 sink method for larger items
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Maintain daily logs for equipment temperatures, water flushing and other required logs
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly inspections, deep cleaning and maintenance is preformed
Must have or be able to obtain
-Food Handlers Certificate
-Vulnerable Sector Check
-First Aid and CPR level C
-Up to date immunization record
