We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Press Assistant(s) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will support the production process by assisting with machine operation with ink solvents, packaging, and warehouse tasks. This role offers an opportunity to develop mechanical skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Press Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining safety standards, and supporting overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Press Machine Operator in the Printing Industry
Must have a mechanical background (printing/ink an asset)
Lifting heavy product
Ensuring the quality of product
Desire to learn the trade
Qualifications:
Manufacturing experience definite an asset
Mechanical background
Able to work in noisy environments
Able to lift heavy material (between 10 and 30lbs)
Pressroom knowledge in any sector of printing an asset
Able to tolerate dust
Able to tolerate strong smells (from inks and solvents used on press)
Willing to work in a dirty environment
Amicable, team player
Standing for long periods
Pay: $21.00 per hour
