This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care. This role works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs, produces, and documents high-quality general radiography examinations in accordance with clinical protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Delivers compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Applies independent judgement and critical thinking during performance of exams and other duties.
- Operates, maintains, and performs quality control procedures on imaging equipment.
- Ensures safety, cleanliness, and organization of the radiographic area.
- Maintains accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
- Collaborates effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, and clinic staff to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Medical Imaging standards of practice and guidelines.
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of professional ethics, privacy legislation, and confidentiality requirements
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Adheres to all applicable regulatory, privacy, infection prevention, and workplace safety standards.

- Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and in close alignment with AHS and other public rates.
- Flexible casual scheduling based on physician and clinic operational needs
- Current clinic hours: Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Future clinic expansion planned for Monday through Sunday operations between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Convenient on-site work location at West Edmonton Mall, Phase 1, 2nd Floor

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program
- New graduates and experienced technologists
- Current registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) as an MRT(R)
- Eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- CPR/Standard First Aid certification is considered an asset
