Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and care, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and meets safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred, especially in a kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience working with various kitchen equipment and tools required for meal preparation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
