STEM Camp Leader - Engineering for Kids Vancouver
Candidates applying for seasonal position must be available during July and August 2024, ideally full time availability.
Permanent position with weekend and after-school (3-6pm) availability at various locations in Vancouver is also available.
Candidate must have a passion for working with children and inspiring students to learn. Candidate must be able to clear a criminal background check.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfortable using electronics, computer software, hardware, and various other technologies – or very willing to learn
- Ideally, you have some experience with STEM materials, such as robotics, coding, 3D printing, game making (Minecraft, Roblox, etc)
- Prior experience and a passion for working with kids aged 4-14
- Enthusiastic and fun personality
- Able to engage and inspire students to learn. Passion for creative education and love working with kids
- Driver's license and access to a car (preferred)
- Excellent punctuality, organization skills, and work ethic
- Ability to work well in high-energy environments
- Classroom management skills
- BC criminal record check (must)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
HOURS & LOCATION:
Programs run between the hours of:
- 9am-4pm during school breaks for camps and VSB Pro-D Days
- 9am -4pm Weekends
- 3:15pm - 6:00pm Weekdays for afterschool programs
Programs are held various community centers in Vancouver
Job Type: permanent or seasonal

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
