We are seeking dedicated Fiber Optic MDU Technicians to join our team. Experience is an asset but not necessary. As a Fiber Optic MDU Technician for Phoenix Capital Construction, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic cables and related equipment in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs). This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, interacting with customers, and ensuring that all fiber optic installations meet company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fiber optic cables in MDUs, including routing cables through conduits and walls.
- Terminate and splice fiber optic cables to ensure reliable connections.
- Test fiber optic cables using specialized equipment to verify signal strength and quality.
- Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic cables and equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding equipment handling, safety, and service delivery.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in telecommunications or networking field is preferred but not necessary.
· Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· Willingness to work in various weather conditions and occasional weekends.
