The Role
We are looking for an experienced Dealership Accounting Clerk / Deal Poster to join our team.
In this role, you will work closely with the Sales teams to ensure vehicle transactions are complete, accurately recorded, and posted on time. You will bring previous dealership accounting experience and an understanding of the documentation, systems, and deadlines involved in processing vehicle deals.
This is an opportunity to take the next step in your dealership accounting career and play an active role beyond day-to-day deal posting. You will work closely with management to ensure deal documentation is complete and understood, identify trends or gaps that may otherwise be missed, and provide practical insight that supports stronger processes and better decisions. Your ability to communicate clearly, organise competing priorities, and follow transactions through to resolution will make genuine impact to the team and our business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Reviewing completed retail and fleet vehicle deal files to ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Posting vehicle sales, purchases, trade-ins, and related transactions in the dealership management system.
- Reconciling vehicle inventory and investigating discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Calculating sales commissions and preparing related reports.
- Working with Sales and Management to resolve missing, incomplete, or incorrect deal documentation.
You Will Bring
- Automotive dealership accounting experience, including deal posting is essential.
- Working knowledge of CDK, ADP, or another dealership management system.
- Experience processing retail and fleet vehicle transactions.
- Post-secondary education in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or equivalent related experience.
- Experience reconciling vehicle inventory and calculating sales commissions.
If you have dealership accounting experience and are looking to join a respected automotive group, we encourage you to apply.
