Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Aesthetician to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional skincare treatments, body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care services to enhance our clients’ natural beauty. This role requires a professional with excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best. The Aesthetician will also assist with retail sales, product demos, and guest services to ensure a memorable experience for every visitor. Strong skills in nails, bonus if you’re trained in nail extensions. We can train you in any services listed above if you’re not already trained.
Duties
- Perform a variety of skincare treatments including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and makeup application.
- Provide nail care services such as manicures and pedicures. Bonus if you can do extensions.
- Deliver exceptional guest services by listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all treatments and work areas.
- Assist clients with retail product selections and conduct product demos to promote skincare lines.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance client satisfaction and increase retail sales.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, check-ins, and answering guest inquiries.
- Ensure the treatment rooms are clean, organized, and prepared for each appointment.
- Stay current on industry trends and new treatment techniques through ongoing education.
- Be active on social media!
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as an Aesthetician or Esthetician.
- Proven experience in skincare treatments such as facials, waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care. Whiling to train.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a spa or salon environment.
- Ability to promote retail products through demos and upselling strategies.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Experience in front desk operations is preferred but not required.
- Passion for the beauty industry with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
