Who we are:
Superior Glove is a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of innovative hand and arm protection. For more than 100 years, we’ve been focused on one goal: helping workers get home safe. Today, our global team works across Canada, the United States, Mexico, Honduras and El Salvador, combining manufacturing expertise, innovation and a commitment to workplace safety.
The ideal candidate:
You are a hands-on IT infrastructure professional who combines current technical depth with practical people leadership. You understand how networks, servers, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, backup and recovery and site connectivity work together in a multi-site manufacturing or distribution environment. You can diagnose complex outages, assess business impact, guide junior and intermediate team members, manage vendors and communicate clearly with plant leaders and executives. You stay close to the technology while leading a geographically distributed team.

Plan, prioritize and deliver infrastructure projects and operational work, including upgrades and new-site implementations; define requirements, evaluate solutions, direct vendors, and manage licensing, maintenance, support agreements, documentation and after-hours support.
-
Identify infrastructure and cybersecurity risks, capacity needs, lifecycle concerns, resilience and recovery gaps, and improvement opportunities; assess business impact, recommend priorities and investment to the CFO, and lead remediation.
-
Deliver upgrades and new-site implementations; manage vendors, licensing, documentation, IT service processes, maintenance windows and after-hours support across company locations.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 8 years of progressive combined, hands-on IT infrastructure or operations experience, including leadership, coaching or mentoring responsibilities within that progression; must remain technically current and comfortable working directly with enterprise technology.
-
Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing, warehousing, logistics or distribution operations and managing distributed technical resources; international or cross-border experience and new-facility implementations are assets.
-
Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, Active Directory, enterprise networking, firewalls and remote-site connectivity, VMware or comparable hyperconverged infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, endpoint management, cybersecurity, monitoring, and backup and recovery.
