Corrpro Canada is Canada's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for protecting and preserving infrastructure. We provide professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro Canada has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any cathodic protection system for any type of structure.
WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Plan and perform testing and field surveys for corrosion and corrosion protection systems, evaluation of test results and installation of cathodic protection systems on various structure
-
Work with specific objectives and instruction from senior staff on customer drawings and specifications
-
Conduct field surveys to gather data for evaluation of corrosion and corrosion control
-
Execute pipeline and tank integrity testing
-
Perform testing of corrosion prevention systems including cathodic protection, protective coatings, AC/DC interference and corrosion monitoring
-
Gather structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier data
-
Diagnose and develop recommended remedies for system difficulties observed during resurvey operations

Write survey reports for review by an engineer

Sketch rectifiers, anodes, test stations, and other design features on prepared drawings
-
Sketch physical features of installation site for subsequent addition of detail
-
Organize and reduce data gathered, prepare charts and tables
-
Assemble and analyze data for preparation of final client report including recommendations
-
Prepare survey reports and final job reports for review
-
Assist manager in appraising employee performance and related matters
-
Act as direct interface with customer as needed
-
Assist in cost estimation and detailed proposal
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
AMPP / NACE CP Technologist (CP III), CIP II or working towards them
-
7 years corrosion control experience
-
Must have valid Driver’s License with good driver's abstract
-
Must have strong project management and problem-solving skills
-
Strong team and internal customer service skills required
-
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to work with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
-
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
-
Must be able to travel overnight and work overtime
