This role requires the incumbent to demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety and ensuring that all cleaning and sanitation requirements are always adhered to. You will work under Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and comply with all applicable laws, policies and procedures.

  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills are always required to be displayed

  • Prepare set up and arrange ingredients for the 1st Wok/Noodle Bar Cooks daily

  • Maintain adequate ingredients to respond to quick ordering and service
  • 保持中餐館的煮食區域運作暢順,為中餐廚師1提供支援。
  • Provide support to 1st Wok/Noodle Bar Cooks by maintaining work areas at the Noodle Bar
  • 根據配方和指示準備食材。
  • Prepare ingredients as per recipes and directions provided
  • 管理廢料和敗壞食品,並在當值期間補充貨品。
  • Control waste and spoilage and restock low items during shift
  • 確保在班次結束前完成所有準備工作、補貨和清潔。
  • Ensure all prep, re-stocking and cleaning is completed prior to the end of the shift
  • 根據需要協助其他員工。
  • Assist with duties of other employees as needed
  • 確保廚房區域的清潔和衛生。
  • Always Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area

  • Inspect work area daily and report any hazards and/or defective equipment to the Sous Chef/Manager immediately
  • 遵守所有健康和安全要求,包括在適當的時候使用個人防護設備(PPE)。
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • 立即向廚師報告所有受傷事故、意外和異常情況。
  • Report all injuries, accidents and unusual conditions to the Chef immediately

  • Perform other duties as required by the Chef

教育程度和經驗:Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • 具備至少2至3年的廚房工作體驗,最好與亞洲餐飲有關。
  • Minimum 2-3 years of kitchen experience, preferably some with Asian cuisine experience
  • 必須通過WHMIS認證。
  • Must be WHMIS certified
  • 在中餐廚房中主動學習及理解其他崗位和責任。
  • Show initiative and desire in learning and understanding other roles and responsibilities in the Wok/Noodle Bar kitchen
  • 良好的刀具處理能力。
  • Good knife handling skills
  • 能夠以友好和專業的方式遵循指示。
  • Ability to follow instructions in a friendly and professional manner
  • 積極主動,並具備出色的溝通技巧。
  • Must be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills
  • 熟知食物中毒的原因和預防方法。
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the causes of food poisoning and method of prevention

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow employees and management as part of a team

  • Ability to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to perform tasks and duties effectively and safely within prescribed time limits
  • 能夠獲得Smart Serve認證。
  • The ability to obtain a Smart Serve Certification
  • 能夠獲得安大略省酒精及博彩委員會的博彩工作許可。
  • The ability to obtain a Gaming license with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
