We are seeking a reliable afternoon shift Machine Operator to run our CNC router and edgebander in a busy cabinet manufacturing shop.
We manufacture cabinets, doors, and millwork for multi-family and commercial projects. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys production work, is comfortable working with machinery, and can keep a steady pace throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC router and edgebander
- Load and unload sheets, panels, and cabinet parts
- Read job labels, cut lists, and production paperwork
- Check parts for correct size, edge banding, drilling, and quality
- Keep machines running efficiently and report any issues
- Perform basic machine cleaning and daily maintenance
- Organize completed parts for assembly
- Help with cabinet assembly, packing, and general shop duties when required
- Follow shop safety procedures and keep work area clean
Requirements
- Experience operating CNC, edgebander, or other woodworking/manufacturing machinery preferred
- Cabinet shop or millwork experience is an asset
- Must be able to lift 50 lb repeatedly throughout the shift and up to 75 lb when required
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and move material for a full shift
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who wants steady, long-term work and takes pride in keeping production moving. You do not need to be a cabinetmaker, but you must be comfortable around machines, physically capable of handling material, and willing to learn our production process.
Schedule
Afternoon shift, Monday to Friday. Exact hours to be confirmed.
