We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at a Retail store. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other common areas
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support overall facility operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and safety guidelines is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential for scheduled shifts
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality when necessary
