OTR Engineered Solutions (OTR) specializes in the manufacturing, distribution & recertification of wheels and rims for mining, earthmover, construction, forestry, agricultural and industrial machinery. At the present time, our company is looking for one (1) innovative individual to join our team as a Labourer/Tire Technician/Shipper-Receiver.
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time
Salary: $20 per hour to start $22 after 3 months of probation.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Skill Requirements: Completion of High School
Credentials: Valid G driver’s license; weight lifting more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Languages: Speak, read and write English
Product Experience/Knowledge: Forklift operator
Specific Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, time management skills and organizational skills. Must pay attention to detail. Ability to meet all given deadlines. Proven written and verbal communication. Ability to work alone or with others. Ability to problem solve, make decisions, apply critical thinking, and willing to continuously learn.

- Successful completion of the "Incoming Wheel Inspection" Exam
- Understand Import / Export custom documentation
- Basic understanding of SDS (safety data sheets) sheets for WHIMIS products
- Know and understand the Safety Hazards associated with the position
- Operate cranes/lifts/forklifts to move and/or retrieve inventory
- Confirm with Supervisor the pickup and delivery schedule for the day
- All documentation matches the shipment (ie, packing slips, B3 customs form, etc.)
- Skid, strap and assemble pallets using appropriate tools and equipment that is provided
- Complete final quality inspection and corresponding quality control paperwork with respect to outgoing shipments
- Perform basic truck inspection and properly complete appropriate log book and report any malfunctions
- Complete daily cycle counts
- Assist with year-end inventory count
- Pick up and deliver inventory from local suppliers
- Proficient at unpacking goods received
- Record and report shorted and damaged goods received to Supervisor
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips or other documents
- Route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Grinding, painting, shot blasting, general cleanup, yard maintenance
- Assemble and disassemble tire from wheels, identify and inflate tires for correct size and ply; replace valve stems; inspect tire casing for defects; prepare rims and wheel drums for reassembly; usage of inflation cages, air lines, tire mounting machines, hand tools
- Any other general labor duties as required
