Position Overview:
We are looking for a Parts Advisor to be an integral part of our Parts and Service team. The Parts Advisor is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in finding the right automotive parts while ensuring outstanding service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their parts needs in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Collaborate with the Service and Sales team to ensure efficient operations and order fulfillment.
- Use your knowledge of General Motors parts and accessories to accurately identify and locate the required components.
- Utilize computer skills to process parts orders, track inventory, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in inventory management and stocking of parts.
- Multitask effectively to handle customer inquiries, parts orders, and other related responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Preferred experience with General Motors parts and accessories.
- Familiarity with automotive dealership software systems such as PBS is an asset.
- An automotive technical background is advantageous.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
