Your Opportunity at SECURE Energy
As our Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for providing supply chain support to the Waste Management & Energy Infrastructure teams. They assist in the ongoing development of Supply Chain, Procurement and Vendor Management processes and strategy.
This role is based out of Calgary, Alberta
The Team
In our team environment, the Supply Chain Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the collaborative efforts of the Waste Management and Energy Infrastructure teams. By working closely with various departments and vendors, the analyst helps streamline processes, improve vendor performance, and ensure the effective execution of procurement and vendor management strategies.
Work Environment
This position is based in-office on a full-time permanent basis.
A Day in The Life
- Support sourcing requests from Waste Management and Energy Infrastructure.
- Support RF(x) process as required.
- Maintain and administer new and existing service agreements.
- Produce expediting and receiving reports, trace shipments, expedite undelivered goods, and resolve problems and disputes.
- Compile KPI statistics on vendor performance, participate in producing vendor scorecards, and work with vendors on performance improvement.
- Assist in the categorization, sale or re-utilization of inventory equipment.
- Create and manage the processes related to the project procure-to-pay process in ERP system – inc. project set up, purchase order creation, receiving, and invoice matching.
- Vendor management compliance responsibilities for onsite, offsite and SAAS vendors
- Maintain and manage master vendor list in ERP system.
- Administer project budget approval workflow in ERP.
- Maintain and manage contract consultant lists.
- Support Project Managers and Finance in project close-out in ERP.
- Support continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes and tools.
- Occasional travel to field locations and supplier facilities may be required.
Skills, Experience, & Qualifications
The individual in this role will have:
- 3+ years’ experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Vendor Management.
- Already enrolled, or willing to, enroll in the SCMP program.
- Experience with Information Technology (IT) and SAAS vendor compliance and governance.
- An adaptable, high-energy individual with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Experience with sourcing, contract management and negotiation.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, DocuSign & Outlook.
- Experience with an ERP; specifically, Microsoft D365 considered an asset.
- Experience with Enverus OpenInvoice considered an asset.
- Ability to be organized, multi-task, prioritize, work under tight deadlines and to work independently and as part of a team.
- An analytical, data driven approach with an excellent attention to detail.
- Good communications skills including oral, written, and listening ability.
