Project Manager - OHS

CIMA+ is an important player in the area of occupational health and safety management for construction projects of various sizes and in various activity sectors. Very active in Quebec, particularly in the Greater Montreal area, CIMA+ is looking for a health and safety professional to join its OHS management team.

Under the supervision of the Director, Occupational Health and Safety, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating OHS projects in order to ensure smooth progress thereof, make the sure that the construction sites are safe.


Manage the projects and monitor their budgets.
Ensure site supervision and staff management.
Participate in the development of the department.
Participate in the design of management systems and work processes.
Participate in the development and drafting of master prevention programs for projects.
Participate in the development of quality control procedures.
Carry out safety audits when necessary.
Demonstrate due diligence (C-21).


Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other relevant discipline, with a specialization in OHS;
More than 10 years of experience in project management in terms of OHS on construction sites;
Experience or interest in building and maintaining business relationships and contribute to business development.
Certificate delivered by CNESST for Safety Agent Training – Mandatory;
Good understanding and knowledge of OHS legislation and regulations;
Valid ASP Construction Card;
Field work experience on large-scale construction sites;
Thoroughness, dedication, planning and organization skills;
Cooperative and consulting approach with clients;
Fluency in spoken and written French and English (an asset);
Member of the OIQ (an asset);
OHS certificate (an asset);
Training on working in confined spaces, in the presence of asbestos, WHMIS, working at heights or lockout procedures (an asset);
Any other relevant certification (CRSP, CSSE, etc.) (an asset).
