Course Name/Number COMPSCI 1DM3: Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science

Wage Rate* $8190 Start Time and Duration: Lectures W, Th 2:30 – 5:20 pm

Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties

Sets, functions, relations, trees and graphs; counting principles, modular arithmetic, discrete probabilities; induction and recursion, recurrence relations.

Instructor will have full responsibility for the course offering. Please note the course will be run virtually and the instructor must be available at the scheduled lecture times.

Required Qualifications

Graduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related discipline. Applicant must have solid background in and thorough understanding of the course topics as described above.

  • Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
