Property Management Partners is a growing residential property management company serving the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding communities.
We manage residential properties on behalf of investors and property owners and pride ourselves on professional communication, strong systems, accountability, attention to detail, and providing an exceptional experience for both our clients and residents.
As our portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and highly organized Associate Property Manager to join our team.
This is not simply an administrative position. We are looking for someone who can become a trusted member of our operations team, take ownership of their responsibilities, solve problems, communicate professionally, and develop into a larger property management role over time.
The Role
The Associate Property Manager will work closely with our Property Managers and operations team to support the day-to-day management of residential properties.
You will be involved in resident communication, maintenance coordination, property documentation, inspections, leasing support, move-ins and move-outs, follow-ups, and ensuring property-related tasks continue moving forward.
The right candidate will be proactive, professional, highly organized, confident communicating with different people, and capable of managing multiple priorities without requiring constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with residents, applicants, vendors, contractors, and internal team members
- Respond to resident questions, concerns, and service requests
- Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling
- Follow up on outstanding maintenance items until completion
- Create and update work orders, tasks, property notes, and records
- Support Property Managers with the day-to-day administration of their portfolios
- Coordinate property access with residents, contractors, and other parties
- Assist with move-in and move-out processes
- Support leasing activities and applicant documentation
- Follow up with applicants, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Assist with property inspections and inspection-related follow-up
- Review property-related documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Monitor outstanding tasks and proactively follow up when something has not been completed
- Maintain accurate and organized records within our property management systems
- Help ensure company processes and standard operating procedures are consistently followed
- Escalate important resident, maintenance, property, or owner issues when necessary
- Provide additional operational support as the company continues to grow

Experience
Property management or real estate experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Residential property management
- Leasing or real estate administration
- Maintenance coordination
- Resident or customer service
- Property inspections
- Working with contractors and vendors
- Property management software
Experience with platforms such as Buildium, LeadSimple, GoHighLevel, or similar property management and CRM software is an asset but not required.
Communication Requirements
This position involves regular communication with residents, vendors, applicants, and other professionals.
Candidates must have:
- Excellent spoken English
- Excellent written English
- Strong professional email etiquette
- Confidence communicating over the phone
- The ability to communicate information clearly and accurately
Compensation
$40,000–$45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus performance-based bonuses.
We are willing to compensate toward the higher end of the range for a candidate who demonstrates strong property management experience, excellent communication skills, initiative, accountability, and leadership potential.

A successful Associate Property Manager does more than simply complete assigned tasks.

Over time, we want this person to become someone our Property Managers and leadership team can genuinely rely on.
