Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician specializing in A/C and Refrigeration systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation, with additional experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and mechanical troubleshooting. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within commercial and residential settings, ensuring optimal climate control and refrigeration performance. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform routine inspections to identify issues with HVAC components and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems as needed, including pipe repairs and connections.
- Utilize welding skills for system repairs or modifications when required.
- Service boiler systems and perform mechanical repairs to ensure efficient operation.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for accurate system diagnostics and repairs.
- Perform appliance repair related to HVAC or refrigeration equipment.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist in construction or renovation projects involving HVAC installation or upgrades.
Skills
- Proven experience with HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of A/C units and refrigeration equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Construction experience is a plus for installation projects.
- Mechanical or mechanic experience that enhances diagnostic capabilities.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC work environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
