Overview
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to care for twins in the employer’s home. The successful candidate will provide attentive childcare, prepare meals, assist with daily routines, and help maintain a safe and healthy home environment. The position requires patience, organization, flexibility, and the ability to manage the needs of two children.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for twins, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Bathe, dress, feed, and assist children with daily routines
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Support children's personal hygiene and social development
- Discipline children according to the parents' instructions
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Keep records of children's daily activities and health information
- Take children to and from school and appointments, as required
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and ironing
- Cook and assist with household meal preparation
- Travel with the family and assist with childcare and housekeeping duties when required
- Assume responsibility for the household in the absence of the parents
Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience caring for children
- Experience supervising and caring for twins
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- English language proficiency
- Emergency child care first aid and CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Reference required
- Willingness to relocate
- Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks
- Personal suitability: flexibility, organization, reliability, time management, patience, and honesty
- Work must be completed on site at the employer's home
- Non-smoking work environment
Benefits
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
