Business Analyst - PC/BC Guidewire
Project Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support Guidewire-based insurance solutions, with a focus on PolicyCenter and related business processes. In this role, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, document business needs, coordinate cross-functional activities, and support the delivery of policy management solutions.
The successful candidate will bring strong Business Systems Analyst experience, Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud certification, and the ability to manage timelines and deliverables in a collaborative environment.
This role is hybrid and requires you to work from our downtown Toronto office and/or the client office at 250 Yonge St, Toronto, a minimum of three days per week. This requirement is subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and supporting documentation.
- Support Guidewire PolicyCenter initiatives and related insurance policy management processes.
- Coordinate activities and dependencies across cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Manage assigned timelines, deliverables, requirements, and follow-up activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to clarify requirements, priorities, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
- Support analysis related to policy management functionality and rating processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative planning and delivery activities.
- Maintain clear and consistent project and requirements documentation.
- Communicate progress, requirements, risks, and outstanding items to relevant stakeholders.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience.
- Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud certification.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience managing timelines and deliverables.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Assets
- Experience with insurance policy management systems.
- Experience with rating engines.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Experience working in Agile environments.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
