Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with attention to detail and presentation.
- Develop new pastry recipes and refine existing ones to ensure consistency and quality.
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, including proper packaging of baked goods for sale or delivery.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate food preparation schedules and meet service deadlines.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients, supplies, and equipment needs.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, explaining menu items, and accommodating special requests when possible.
Requirements
- Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field; restaurant experience preferred.
- Strong skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and food handling techniques.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety standards and food industry regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for baking.
- Familiarity with food packaging processes for retail or take-out items is a plus.
- A proactive team player with strong communication skills who thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
