WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Report to the Manager, Financial Planning and Risk Analysis.
-
Responsible for being the key referral point in required areas (could include accounting issues, risk, products, IFRS, financial systems, etc.).

Research, analyze and evaluate ALM, credit risk and/interest rate risk to assess their impact to the organization.
-
Analyze complex information & data, interpret guidelines, and evaluate impact, and prepare reports and recommendations for senior management.

Make recommendations for decisions on project matters or escalations to stakeholders as required.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers to identify ways to provide value and execute on initiatives.

Collaborating with the Treasury and Financial reporting teams to assist with monthly plans, stress testing reports, as well as other various initiatives connected to the Bank’s securitization programs.

Analyze the Bank’s cash flow projection and liquidity needs and set daily interest rates for various deposit products.

Assist the Treasurer to prepare Liquidity Contingency Funding Plan stress test report and monthly reports for ALCO.
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
-
You have a post-secondary degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
-
You’re an accounting professional and have a CPA (or legacy) designation.
-
You have a minimum of five years’ experience in an accounting role, demonstrating progress and increasing level of responsibility.
-
You’ve worked in jobs where meticulous organization, prioritization and planning have been vital to success.
-
You have conducted financial analysis to support business and executive decision making.
-
Your experience includes thinking strategically to present financial information, solve problems, and improve processes.

You have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and experience using enterprise financial systems.
