Job Description
- We currently have a position open for a part-time Foodista at Good Earth Coffeehouse Centennial Place located downtown @ 530 - 3 Ave SW.
- Expected Wage: 15-16/hr
- Shifts : Saturday & Sunday, 8AM-3:30PM
- This job contributes to the success of Good Earth Coffeehouse by delivering exceptional customer service, creating a friendly and clean atmosphere and delivering high quality products to customers. Foodista's must be able to work both alone and as part of a team and able to follow direction.
Responsibilities
- Coffeehouse Operations Activities - Delivering exceptional products and services to all Good Earth Coffeehouse customers. Contributes to a positive team environment, high staff morale and communicates problem areas to the Coffeehouse Manager or Supervisor. Develops positive and professional relationships with the Good Earth team by recognizing and understanding the needs and concerns of his/her teammates. Follows company policies and procedures and is in compliance of these guidelines at all times. Completes daily tasks to in order to keep the Coffeehouse at high standards of cleanliness and working order using the check sheets and maintenance lists. Ensures that standards of execution are excellent at all times. Ensures that his/her Coffeehouse is properly merchandised and that all retail, food displays and signage reflect the current marketing initiative.
- Food & Bakery - Dedicated to the production of high quality food and bakery products at all times. Ensures timely delivery of high quality food and bakery items at all times. Ensures that food waste is kept to within targeted standards set by the Coffeehouse. Handles any issues as they arise to ensure that the customer is satisfied. Recommends to the Coffeehouse Manager corrective action for the company’s operating systems in order to ensure that problems will not be encountered repeatedly.
Qualifications
- AB Food Safety certification
- 1-5 years experience as a Foodista or cook/baker would be considered a significant asset.
- excellent communication skills both written and verbal
