Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Dental Clinic Team Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a world-class patient experience while supporting operational efficiency and team performance. The ideal candidate will be poised and professional, proactive, flexible, adaptable, and passionate about contributing to a close-knit team. Work hours will generally be Monday to Friday, with one Saturday per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the clinic
- Supervise and support a team of employees
- Collaborate with dental professionals and management to assess needs, implement solutions, and communicate openly
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Train staff on new technologies and systems
- Develop strategies for improving operational efficiency through technology
- Monitor project progress and report on outcomes
- Foster a culture of innovation within the team
- Manage inventory and ordering
- Prepare and finalize financial arrangements for patients
- Perform other duties as assigned by dentists and the Regional Manager
What We’re Looking For
- Customer Service & Communication: Excellent phone manners, strong patient service orientation, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, online fax, and multi-line phones
- Dental Knowledge: Understanding of dental insurance and procedures; knowledge of Tracker software is a must!
- Professional Attributes: Flexibility, adaptability, strong judgment skills, confidentiality, organization, and time management
- Team Orientation: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a positive and friendly attitude toward coworkers
- Performance Mindset: Commitment to performance improvement and achieving office goals
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working as a Manager in a dental office
- Formal education as a Dental Administrator or Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental insurance and procedures
Compensation
- Yearly salary will be determined based on education and work experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
