As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Painting Superintendent who is not only a skilled painter and capable manager, but also a positive leader who is passionate about developing others, fostering teamwork, and contributing to a healthy company culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will be expected to work on the tools as needed to help execute projects, support crews, maintain production schedules, and ensure quality standards are met, while also managing people, job-site coordination, communication, documentation, and overall project execution.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support painting crews on residential, multi-family, and commercial projects
- Work on the tools as required to help execute projects, maintain schedules, support crews, and ensure quality workmanship
- Take an active role in project completion, including painting, spraying, staining, lacquering, preparation, touch-ups, deficiencies, and other hands-on work as needed
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and mutual respect
- Train, mentor, and develop painters to help them reach their full potential
- Coordinate manpower, schedules, materials, and job-site logistics
- Complete required paperwork, reports, and documentation accurately and on time
- Conduct quality-control inspections and ensure company standards are maintained
- Communicate clearly with clients, site supervisors, builders, and internal team members
- Promote and enforce safe work practices on all job sites
- Address challenges proactively while maintaining positive working relationships
- Support project efficiency by identifying issues early and helping crews stay organized, productive, and accountable
Qualifications
- Significant professional painting experience, including spray applications, stain, and lacquer finishes
- Previous experience in a Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Hand, or management role
- Strong hands-on painting skills and willingness to work on the tools as part of the role
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience completing job documentation, reports, and scheduling requirements
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Smartphone for scheduling and communication applications

Compensation: Based on experience
Successful applicants will be required to complete a criminal record check prior to employment.
